Hi,

I don't receive any mail with Forum activity since 19-11-2023. Is there any issue? I have resubmitted my Email alerts from user configuration, changed the mail account but no luck.

Any help?

I'm a new user (past ~week or so), but I've posted here and had replies and have never received an email, so I guess it's not just you. (Verified my email notification settings and spam bin too.)

To whomever triggered the test email to me a few hours ago: yes I received it.

That was me. So if you are receive emails that I manually trigger Fossil to send, I don't understand why you do not get the automatically generated emails.

Yes, it's odd. No issue receiving other system emails like password resets either. My alert settings have everything checked except for "Edits To Forum Post". 🤷‍♂️

Add me to the list of forgotten users.

I noticed that I was not receiving forum emails over the past month or so and assumed it was a low traffic time of year. So I logged in to see if my lurker status had "timed out".

Let's see if I receive my own forum post by email.

I just received an email!

This is the first email I have received in a long time (not #10 from Richard, but Jim's #11 response to it) and have continued receiving new emails.

Emails stopped arriving starting on 2023-08-26 with the last one being a reply from Warren to an anonymous for the topic "[EXTERNAL] [fossil-forum] How to Add New Page to the Main Menu?"

There was one email on 2023-11-01 with the "[EXTERNAL] [fossil-forum] Fossil version 2.23" announcement.

Now there are continuing emails.

Edit: Correction. There was one email received about 15 minutes before in a reply by bohwaz in post #3 of "[EXTERNAL] [fossil-forum] Unversioned files hash algorithm: unclear which one it is"

After I post my message I received this message from the SMTP relay of my FAI:

This can also happen when the sender's E-mail program does not

It seems to be working for this post at least.

I started getting notifications which i’m pretty sure I had previously turned off. I have tried to adjust my notifications but the system is telling me that my email belongs to someone else. Something’s weird.

How did you try to adjust your notifications?

Recommended: Click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of a notification email. That will take you to a page with two big buttons, one to "Unsubscribe" and another to "Manage Subscription Settings". Click on the second button.

If you'll email me from the email address you're attempting to subscribe from we can get the subscription straightened out.
