I usually like to visualize several diffs, one after the other.

I click on two points of the timeline, I get the diff. I prefer unified diffs, so I select that, and then I click on the current last checkin as the new first node, and then the endpoint for a new diff, and a new diff is generated... and at this point, I've lost the added "&diff=1" parameter I had for the first diff, so I need to select "unified" again.

Is there a way this choice of diff format can be preserved when selecting a new pair of checkins?
